Recently, the famous WABetaInfo discovered another WhatsApp feature that is available in a new beta version.
As per his report, WhatsApp will soon allow transcribing audio messages to text. Messages are transcribed with voice recognition artificial intelligence and transformation only takes place at the smartphone level. This means that WhatsApp does not send or store any data.
Once a message is transcribed for the first time, it is stored in the local WhatsApp database so that it does not have to be converted every time.

However, if you need to use this feature, then of course you have to grant WhatsApp access to your phone’s artificial intelligence engine, which is responsible for speech recognition. This may be of concern to those who support the full protection of personal data.

This feature is still in development, so there is no possible start date in sight.
