Will Prince Harry Bow And Kiss Queen Camilla’s Hand At The Coronation?
Prince Harry, who confirmed his attendance at King Charles and Camilla’s coronation ceremony on May 6, would have a hard time “kissing the Queen’s hand at the coronation.”
Princess Diana’s former butler Paul Burrell has said it won’t be easy for the Duke of Sussex to lean in and kiss his mother-in-law’s hand after the episode of his memoir Spare Tell-Alls, in which Harry calls Camilla.
“Harry will have to face his family who he criticized. He even has to lean down and kiss Queen Camilla’s hand and that’s going to be a very hard pill to swallow,” Paul said in a new interview.
Some critics won’t hesitate to call the act hypocrisy when Harry does it, even after insulting Camilla.
There is speculation that Meghan Markle’s husband will have to follow royal tradition to keep the door open and retain his royal title.
Paul also criticized the Duchess for not attending the historic event, saying: “She’s not here because I think her safety would be compromised. She could be booed or worse spent her first birthday here at Frogmore Cottages so why couldn’t Archie have made it?
Speaking to GB News, Paul also explained: “He will also be collecting anecdotes about his upcoming attack on his family.”
