Twitter has announced the permanent suspension of Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s account. He made some controversial tweets about the violence in the state of West Bengal.
Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, a supporter of the die-hard Hindu nationalist ruling party Bharatiya Janata in India, posted some provocative tweets about the violence in West Bengal state and had her Twitter account blocked.
The suspension of Kangana Ranaut has caused cheers among Indians on Twitter, one of whom tweeted: “One virus has left Twitter and is now waiting for the other virus to leave,” as a comment to Ranaut.
According to Twitter, the actress’s account has consistently violated the “guidelines for hate and indecent treatment of Twitter, which is why this action was taken”.
Twitter has made it clear in an official statement that the ban is permanent, ANI confirmed.

“We knew we were going to take strong enforcement measures against behavior that could potentially cause harm offline. The account has been permanently banned for repeated violations of Twitter rules,” said a Twitter spokesman.

In response to the ban, Ranaut was quoted as saying, “Twitter has only proven my point. They are American and by birth, a white person feels entitled to enslave a dark person. They want to tell you what to think, speak, or do. I have many platforms to speak out on, including my own art in the form of film.”

“But my heart goes out to the people of this nation who have been tortured, enslaved, and censored for thousands of years, and yet the suffering is endless,” he added.
