When asked to remove her tiara, Queen Elizabeth agreed
Queen Elizabeth was once asked to remove her tiara when Annie Leibovitz photographed the British monarch.
Leibovitz is best known for her compelling portraits, particularly of celebrities, which often feature subjects in settings and intimate poses.
Omid Scobie, the author of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s biography Finding Freedom, shared a retrospective video of Queen Elizabeth on Friday.
The video shows the American portraitist asking the British monarch to remove her tiara.

The author and journalist shared the video on Twitter with the caption: “Remember that iconic moment (2007) when Annie Leibovitz told the Queen to take off her tiara so the garter dress would look ‘less dressed’. I’m still ready for HMTQ finally agreed!”
