WhatsApp brings innovation to its voice memo feature
Popular messaging platform WhatsApp is bringing some innovations to its voice memo feature for its Android version, WABetainfo reported.
However, the updated feature only works on voice memos when they are broadcast.
What’s New
Color:
The voice note icon, which is normally yellow, now turns orange when users forward a note or audio clip.
Different icons:
WhatsApp now uses different icons to distinguish between transferred voice memos and audio files.

Speech Waveforms:
Forwarded voice memos now include speech waveforms, but only if they were recorded using the version of WhatsApp that has the feature enabled.
Reading Speed:
As we know, WhatsApp recently released more voice memo reading speed options. In the latest development, broadcast voice memos will also have this feature, but it will not be available for audio files.
WhatsApp will soon release for iOS and Android.
