What Are The Best And Worst Govt Services in The UAE?
The Ruler of Dubai and Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum revealed the best and worst government services in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Based on public feedback, issuing passports and driving licenses proved to be the best service, taking less than 30 minutes. On the other hand, the certification of school documents and the arrangement of doctor’s appointments received the worst ratings.
On Twitter, Sheikh Mohammed said that earlier this year he launched the Government Services Observatory to assess service quality. The observatory receives approximately one million responses from the public each month for more than 1,400 services.
Sheikh Mohammed commented:
The passport and driver’s license issuing service tops the list of best services, taking almost under thirty minutes, in addition to the excellent services provided by the Ministry of Interior, according to the Public (MoI) and External Relations Assessment. At the bottom of the list are certification and equivalency services, as well as doctor appointment scheduling.
Sheikh Mohammed pointed out that feedback gives hard-working employees their rights and helps them improve and advance.
He felt he had learned from his past experiences not to jeopardize the well-being of his homeland with empty praise.
