Utility Stores Announced The Price Increment For Dozens Of Items
Utilities raised prices on several branded items, including condiments, salt, pickles, shoe polish, toothpaste, and milk bottles.
According to the official price list approved by Utility Stores Corporation (USC), effective today, more than 4,000 utility stores will now sell various groceries and other categories of items at the revised prices.
The price of toothpaste has risen from Rs. 20 to Rs. 278, while the price of milk has risen to Rs. 20.
The price of salt increased by 20 rupees, body lotion by 80 rupees, and fruit jam by 45 rupees. The price of biryani masala went up by 10 rupees, while the macaroni rose to 45 rupees and the noodles to 35 rupees.
According to price revisions, the prices of shoe polish were increased by 35 rupees, ketchup by 80 rupees, face cream by 50 rupees, drinks by 60 rupees, eyeglass cleaner by 100 rupees, ghee by 400 rupees and cream by up to 73 rupees.
Clothing, dish soap, pickles, spaghetti, almond oil, rooh afza, jam-e-Shirin, pudding, garlic paste, fruit, and surf have also become more expensive.
