US Actress Christina Applegate was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS).
The 49-year-old actress announced on Tuesday (8th August 2021) on Twitter that she only discovered a few months ago that she suffered from an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system.
She wrote, “Hi friends. I was diagnosed with MS a few months ago. It’s been a strange journey. But I’ve gotten a lot of support from people I know who also have this disease. It was a difficult path. But how everyone I know continues down the road unless a ****** blocks them.”
Christina’s actress Selma Blair also revealed her own diagnosis of MS three years ago, stating that the first time she experienced symptoms was walking down the Christian Siriano catwalk during New Fashion Week in New York in 2018.

She said, “I have multiple sclerosis. I’m in an exacerbation. By the grace, will, and understanding of Netflix producers, I have a job. A wonderful job. I’m disabled. I fall sometimes. I let things My memory is blurry. And my left side is asking for directions from a broken GPS. But we do. And I laugh and I don’t know exactly what I’m going to do specifically, but I’ll do my best since my diagnosis 10:30 am As of August 16, I have the love and support of my friends, especially @jaime_king @sarahmgellar @realfreddieprinze @tarasubkoff @ noah.d.newman.”

I’ve had symptoms for years but they never took me seriously until I fell in front of him trying to sort it out. I pulled out what I thought was a pinched nerve.
I’ve probably had this terminal disease for at least 15 years. And I’m relieved to know at least.
