Following the successful and transparent implementation of the Kamyab Jawan Program Loan, a massive surge in economic activity has been observed across the country, a government official said in a statement on Saturday.
Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for Youth Affairs Muhammad Usman Dar said the government has so far helped more than 13,000 young people start their businesses by disbursing Rs 17 billion in loans under the program.

At least 100,000 young people have directly benefited from the benefits of the Kamyab Jawan Program, he added.
Dar praised the banks affiliated with the KJP program for successfully disbursing massive loans to budding entrepreneurs.
Every effort has been made to empower the youth in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s vision, he said, adding that Finance and Income Minister Shaukat Tarin is taking martial steps to expedite the payout process under the program.
Meanwhile, Dar tweeted the story of Sajjad-ur-Rehman, who started her own business after receiving a loan from the government under the Youth Entrepreneurship program.

In a video message, Sajjad, who lives in Attock, praised the Prime Minister for empowering young people with initiatives such as the Kamyab Jawan program.
Sajjad said he remained unemployed for 10 years after completing his master’s degree in Urdu literature, adding that he now runs a large start-up company.
