UAE Workers Are Urging Employers To Embrace Hybrid Work
Workers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) are looking for a hybrid job that offers the opportunity to work remotely and from the office, according to a recent industry study.
The COVID-19 pandemic has prompted a shift in work culture and the UAE is at the forefront of moving towards a hybrid work model.
A recent report by trade events organizer Workspace suggested that the Emirates should become a leading hub for hybrid work models.
The report finds that job seekers are now viewing hybrid work opportunities as an important factor in accepting job offers.
Citing research from Microsoft, the report found that a majority of companies in the UAE, or 98%, plan to invest in hybrid technology for the workplace by 2024, beating the global average of 89%. As more and more employees are able to work remotely, a hybrid working model is becoming more and more popular.
Many employers have started to adopt this system because it is effective, efficient and praised by employees.
Several organizations have taken steps to develop a successful hybrid strategy by upgrading technology and designing office spaces to accommodate changing work environments.
Employees have the opportunity to maximize productivity, maintain work-life balance and save time through a hybrid model. According to studies, hybrid working can boost performance as remote workers often outperform their in-office counterparts.
According to Elaine O’Connell, VP of Design and Hospitality at Dmg Events, the UAE is fast becoming a global leader in hybrid working.
