UAE Released A New Attestation Service For Educational Certificates
In order to speed up the certification of education documents, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched a new service to speed up the attestation of higher education certificates.
According to Khaleej Times, the automatic attestation service is part of the Ministry of Education’s plans to make this service faster and more efficient.
In the old system, students had to request a certificate and wait at least three days for the back-end team to send the files. Only after receiving these files could the certification process be completed.
Six universities have reportedly already agreed to use this expedited service to help students with certification delays.
According to Khaleej Times, director of the Department of Certificate Equivalency at the Ministry of Education, Dr. Sameera Almulla that the automated attestation service ignores the requirement to submit an attestation request. From now on everything will be done automatically as the university provides the department with the necessary information. The certificates would then be certified, he added.
Sameera explained the service in more detail, clarifying that all manual work has been digitized and human intervention is no longer required.
