UAE Announced A Sharp Rise in Petrol And Diesel Prices
The UAE Fuel Price Committee has increased petrol and diesel prices from February 1st, 2023. The price increase is expected to increase public transport and freight costs in the Emirates.
Below is the table showing the price increase compared to January:

The UAE deregulated fuel prices in 2015, allowing them to be dictated by market prices. However, with the start of the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, the Fuel Price Board re-regulated them only to be deregulated again in March 2021.
