Travis Scott pledges $5 million for targeted community initiatives in the wake of the Astroworld tragedy
Travis Scott pledges to donate nearly $5 million to community awareness in the wake of the events following the Astroworld tragedy.
That announcement was made by Scott himself, and according to Variety, the statement reads, “My grandfather was an educator who throughout his life transformed the lives of thousands of young people.”
“He has been a huge influence on me and so many others whose dreams he has believed in, invested in, and forged a great future for.”

“In his spirit, we create projects and programs that look to the future of our communities, bringing hope and excellence to as many lives as possible.”
For those who don’t know, the entire initiative, Project Heal, includes mental health support, hotlines, and is also expanding to Scott’s nonprofit CACT.US Center for Youth Design in Houston.
