Top 10 Highest Paid Govt Employee in Pakistan
The Public Finance Committee (PAC) on Tuesday dealt with the budget review of Pakistan’s Supreme Court.
The session was chaired by PAC Chairman Noor Alam Khan. The committee compared the compensation, benefits, and privileges of Supreme Court justices to those of other federal employees.
Noor Alam Khan reported to the Salary Committee:
- The President is paid Rs896,550 per month
- The Prime Minister is paid Rs201,574/month
- MNAs receive Rs188,000/month
- Federal ministers receive Rs338,125/month
- Grade 22 officers receive Rs591,475/month
- Supreme Court judges are paid Rs. 1,470,711 per month
- Chief Justice of Pakistan is paid Rs. 1,527,399 per month.
The PAC chairman acknowledged the pay gap and raised questions about the size of the gap.
