Today’s by-elections will take place today (Thursday) in the constituency of the Sindh assembly of PS-70 Matli (Badin II).
According to the spokesman for the electoral commission, the vote will continue uninterrupted from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The media cannot announce unconfirmed results until an hour after 5 p.m. M. Said the spokesman for the ECP.

In the wake of the escalation of the COVID-19 cases, the ECP has asked the local government to appoint medical staff for the Matli by-elections in order to properly enforce the COVID SOPs throughout the voting process.
The post was vacated by the PPP after the death of Bashir Ahmed Halepoto. Ahmad Abdullah Halepoto has received a party ticket for the by-elections of the People’s Party.
