The Queen Is Still Ravaged By The 1967 Helicopter Tragedy
Queen Elizabeth II, who spent “sleepless nights” over Prince William, who flew in a helicopter with her family, is still in a helicopter crash that killed the squadron captain and three other people in 1967.
Last week it became known that the Queen had “sleepless nights” because Prince William flew his family in a helicopter.
“The Queen is still ravaged by a helicopter crash that killed the Queen’s Flight captain and three other people in December 1967,” a source told a news agency.
There were no royals on board, but Prince Philip is said to have flown on the same plane. The Queen was so upset that she completely refused to consider a rotating plane trip.
“[The accident] completely disgusted [the queen],” the source said. “That is why she is so concerned about the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children.”

The Queen’s Flight captain, Commodore John Blount, died in December 1967 while flying in a Westland Whirlwind that crashed near Newbury, Berkshire.
As a result, the Queen did not deploy a helicopter until she was finally given no other choice. During its silver jubilee in 1977.
The accident completely discouraged the Queen and made her fearful for William and his family.
