The President Of The UAE, Mohammed Bin Zayed, Will Visit Pakistan Today
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will arrive in Pakistan on Wednesday to discuss trade, investment, and economic relations with top Pakistani leaders.
A statement from the Prime Minister’s Office said the Prime Minister will receive the President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, upon his arrival at Rahim Yar Khan today.
He said Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will join Rahim Yar Khan on a one-day visit to greet UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who will land at Chandna Airport.
It will be the second interaction between the two leaders of friendly nations since Prime Minister Shehbaz visited Abu Dhabi earlier this month to discuss economic ties.
After Prime Minister Shehbaz’s visit, the cash-strapped country gets a $2 billion credit extension from Emirates, a move Pakistan needs to breathe as reserves dwindle.
Recently, the country’s top leaders, including the prime minister and finance minister, were visiting friendly countries as foreign exchange reserves held by the country’s central bank fell to a critical $4.1 billion.
Pakistan has reached out to friendly countries pending the IMF’s ninth review.
