Prime Minister Imran Khan on Thursday warned of a fourth Covid-19 flood as the country approaches, calling the variance of the delta, which is believed to have started in India, “of greater concern”.
Pakistan has recently seen an unexpected increase in daily cases. According to the government’s Covid-19 portal, the daily number of Covid-19 cases is 25. The counted daily cases remained at nearly 900 marks until 27th June and declined further to 735 on 28th June.

At this point, the number of cases started to increase continuously and multiplied in just one week. The inspiration rate, which remained below 2% in June, topped 3% after a 20-day gap.
A day earlier, the National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) also had the presence of several variants of Covid, including the Delta (India), Beta (South Africa), and Alpha (UK) variants in Pakistan, and the recognition of their cases claimed in May and June.
In a video message to the country today, the chief hinted at countries like Afghanistan and Indonesia affected by the delta variation and expressed concern about the vertical direction of Covid-19 cases in the country. Pakistan just days after its rejection.
While thanking people for submitting their previous requests to SOPs, he encouraged most to continue working with the organization and make sure to wear blankets in all places, especially “cafes, weddings, social and interior spaces”, given that these places are outrageous supporters of the spread of infection.
The director said he had realized that people had been burned after SOPs for over a year, but said: “We will also test your stamina to assess your own well-being.” He said using a blanket was far from a huge task.
He said Bangladesh and Indonesia had forced strict closures, adding that we must take action to prevent this circumstance from falling into our trap.

In addition, he said the government must ensure that Eidul Azha’s conciliatory creatures are slaughtered in places outside of urban areas to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
The director also asked the majority to be vaccinated. He urged people, especially in metropolitan areas, to take the beatings.
