The Fairhaven Police in Search Of A Missing Woman Last View Near Pope Beach

Fairhaven Police Chief Michael J. Myers, who activated the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (SEMLEC) search and rescue unit, reports that rescuers are looking for a woman who was last killed Monday in the Pope Beach area on Manhattan Avenue was seen.

Anapaula Huggins, 43, was last seen on CCTV around 7:30am. He was reported missing around 11:30 am.

She left her Raymond Street home with her dog this morning, according to family members. The dog was found by Fairhaven Animal Control around 9:30 a.m. with no signs of Huggins.

Huggins is about 5ft 8in tall with black hair. He wears black pants and a brown jacket.

Responders are currently searching the shoreline from land and water, utilizing resources from the Southeastern Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council (SEMLEC) search and rescue team, a drone unit, K-9 units from various agencies, harbor masters, and the Fairhaven Police and Fire Department.
