The Decreases In Sales Of Fireworks In Diwali 2019 After Governmental Restrictions | India
Since the government ban on traditional firecrackers in India, people associated with the fireworks industry have been in trouble. Many people give up their jobs and are in Egypt to continue this work despite some difficulties. 90% to 95% of fireworks used in India are manufactured in Sevakasi, while the annual investment from the sale of these fireworks is 80 million. There have been dollars, but now there seems to be silent on this Diwali 2019. Following the ban on traditional firecrackers, many people in Sevakasi, following government training, have begun to produce green firecrackers. But because of the high price, their firecrackers are not selling so well. Those working in the cracker industry do not know what they are going to do now. There are about a thousand cracker factories in Sevakasi.
Dima Mathan, director of Lima Fireworks, one of these factories, told AFP that people would come to Diwali and order the fireworks in advance for the next Diwali 2019. But that does not happen now. The production of his company has fallen by 60%. Arvind Kumar, another factory worker, said that some people are following the sanctions of the government
Now they have quit their job and started to work. A man named Kropa Samé owns a firecracker shop. The sale of crackers had fallen by 50%.
