Suzuki To Offer A Discount On All WagonR Models
Pak Suzuki Motor Company (PSMC) has launched a limited-time offer with free WagonR registration.
Note that this will reduce the overall price of the Suzuki WagonR as the registration fee for all cars under 1000cc is 1% of their retail price according to the Islamabad Department of Taxation and Excise.
The company made the announcement via its social media, stating:
Suzuki offers you an interesting offer! Reserve your Suzuki WagonR and get a FREE REGISTRATION! Offer valid for a limited time only on all WagonR variants at authorized Suzuki dealers. The General Terms and Conditions Applied.
In response to a customer inquiry, the company said the estimated delivery time is 45 to 90 days, depending on production capacity and market demand for the product. Given the recent non-production days (NPDs), the latter seems more plausible.
Suzuki WagonR Details
WagonR is an A-segment city car that competes with Suzuki Cultus, United Alpha, Kia Picanto, and Proton Saga. It has a 998cc three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which, depending on the engine, sends 67 hp and 90 Newton meters (Nm) of torque to the front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox or an AGS automatic gearbox.

Suzuki WagonR has basic features like:
- Dual airbags
- AC
- Power windows (VXL and AGS only)
- Immobilizer
- Central locking
- Audio player w/ USB and Auxiliary connectivity

Although a very basic car, the WagonR starts at Rs2,421,000 and goes up to Rs2,802,000. Regardless, it is still one of the best-selling cars in Pakistan. The free registration offer should also persuade new buyers to buy the small sedan.
