Student Of Intermediate Arrested For Fraud With Surgically Implanted Earphones
A student of Intermediate (Higher Secondary Education) from Pakpattan was arrested for fraud with a surgically implanted speaker to cheat during the chemistry paper.
The arrested Candidate Mohammad Farooq cheated on Friday the annual examination of chemistry paper at the state secondary school.
He was drafted by Hafiz Shafiq, Chairman of the Sahiwal Committee for Middle and Secondary Education (SBISE), who was inspecting the examination halls.
As he had passed near to the examinee Farooq, he heard a phone call. Farooq, who had an unusual bandage around his neck and ear, was asked to stand up for control.
After searching Farooq, the inspectors found headphones and a speaker in his ear and wires around his neck. The student had also kept a small cell phone in his pocket.
During the questioning, Farooq revealed that a local donor had implanted the device around his ear and neck with some cuts.
As per the SBISE officer, Dr. Fida was given to Farooq by the city police, while the donor and his accomplice, who helped him solve the paper on the phone, were also arrested.
