Stephen Dunford, a gang member serving a life sentence for shooting dead a 12-year-old boy, has been convicted again of killing a woman in a hit-and-run.
He was sentenced to a minimum of 19 years in prison in October 2020 for attempted murder and firearms offenses.
He seriously injured the boy after opening fire on a group of bystanders in a parking lot on January 12.
More than a year before he shot the boy, Dunford was convicted of killing 28-year-old Naomi Holcomb during a hit-and-run in October 2018.

He was sentenced to six years in prison after admitting to causing death by dangerous driving in the fatal crash in Sheffield on October 13, 2018.
Dunford drove a gray Fiat Punto through a red light at high speed while high on nitrous oxide before ramming Naomi at the level crossing at St Mary’s Gate, killing her instantly.
Sheffield Crown Court heard Dunford failed to stop and fled the scene, continuing to drive dangerously despite the impact.
The point was later set on fire at 4:05 am. m. of that morning.
After leaving the vehicle in Dunford, he was picked up in a taxi.
He then took another taxi to a hotel that drove past the scene of the accident.
Investigators said Dunford was “clearly trying to ascertain the extent of his actions after fleeing the scene and showing absolutely no respect for his victim.”

It was discovered later that day that Dunford had traveled to Skegness to evade the police.
Following yesterday’s sentencing, Detective Chief Inspector Rob Platts said: “Although Dunford has shown little remorse for his actions throughout, I am glad he finally understood the meaning and admitted his guilt.”
“At least it saved Naomi’s family and friends from having to go through an ordeal that would have caused even more uproar and heartache.”
“Naomi was a caring and extremely popular young woman.”
“He lost his life because of Dunford’s dangerous and despicable actions.”
“I hope Naomi’s family and friends find some comfort in this prayer and somehow find the strength to carry on.”
“I know for a fact that Naomi will never be forgotten.”
Naomi’s mother, Sabine Heiliger, added, “I am relieved that Stephen Dunford has finally been held accountable for Naomi’s death, although nothing can compensate for the loss of his life or ease the pain.”
Dunford will serve his sentences at the same time.
