Sindh Announces Public Holiday for Lal Shahbaz Qalandar’s Urs on Feb 19

The Sindh government has announced a public holiday on February 19 to mark the Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar.

According to the official notification, all government and semi-government offices will remain closed on this day.

This year marks the 777th Urs of Hazrat Lal Shahbaz Qalandar, an event observed with deep reverence. The annual celebrations will begin on February 17, drawing thousands of devotees from across the country.

Pilgrims have been arriving for several days, with men, women, children, and elderly individuals making their way to the shrine. Excitement fills the air as visitors gather to pay their respects.
