Sindh Announces Winter Vacations For Schools And Colleges From 20th December
The Sindh Government has announced the winter holiday schedule for public and private schools and universities across the province.
According to the first reports, the winter holidays in the province will start on 20th December 2022 and end on 1st January 2023.
According to our information, the decision was made by the steering committee of the Ministry of Education. Meanwhile, Sindh Minister of Education Syed Sardar Ali Shah said that after consultation with the subcommittee, it was decided that educational institutions will resume operations from 2nd January 2023.
At this point, it should be mentioned that the state’s Ministry of Education has not yet issued an official statement on the holidays. Therefore, the above dates may differ slightly in the final notification.
Earlier, the Punjab government also announced a two-phase winter vacation plan for the province’s public and private schools and universities.
As per the details, schools and universities in Punjab will be closed for the winter holidays in two different phases from 23rd December 2022 to 6th January 2023 and 3rd January to 13th January 2023 respectively.
