Shemiah Davis was killed in a shooting in Trenton Saturday night and three other victims were injured, authorities said.
Prosecutors identified Ms. Davis as the fatal victim of the shooting on Bellevue Avenue near North 25 Housing around 6:45 p.m. Sunday.
A 17-year-old was also shot and injured, as well as a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old. It was not clear at first what condition the surviving victims were in.
Trenton Mayor W. Reed Gusciora and Acting Police Director Steve Wilson called the shooting ‘pointless’.

What Police Have Investigated Up Till Now?
The Mercer County District Attorney’s Office identified the 15-year-old as Shemiah Davis on Sunday. The conditions of the other victims were not immediately available.
Mayor W. Reed Gusciora and Acting Police Director Steve Wilson called the shooting ‘pointless’ and said, “We support these families in their hour of unspeakable pain.”
Authorities have asked residents of the neighborhood, including the residential complex and the general public, to provide information.
