Sharjah Introduces A New Intercity Bus Service
The Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) launched a new bus route on February 22 to improve the city’s public transport integration. Route 811 will connect Sharjah to Al Ain.
This new route is part of the emirate’s growing bus network to offer more choices for visitors and residents.
Route 811 departs from Al Jubail Bus Station in Sharjah and passes through Maleha, Al Madam, Shuwaib, and Al Ain Bus Stations.
SRTA expressed optimism about the new highway’s potential to improve connectivity between the two cities and provide a more efficient mode of transportation. The route aims to reduce travel time and provide travelers with a cost-effective option.
This announcement is part of the Sharjah government’s efforts to improve public transport services and reduce congestion in the emirate.
SRTA has urged commuters and motorists to use the new route to ease congestion on the freeways. The safety of the passengers was also guaranteed by the authority.
