Renowned Pakistani journalist and columnist Nazir Naji passed away in Lahore on Wednesday at the age of 81 while undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

Throughout his illustrious career in journalism, Nazir Naji maintained affiliations with various prestigious newspapers and magazines, leaving an indelible mark on the field.
Recognized for his outstanding contributions, Nazir Naji was awarded the Hilal-e-Imtiaz for his exemplary services in journalism. He notably served as a columnist for the esteemed Jang Group for 27 years before transitioning to Dunya newspaper, where he assumed the role of Group Editor.

In addition to his journalistic endeavors, Nazir Naji also made significant contributions to the literary community, serving as the Chairman of the Academy of Literature.
