McAfee worked for the government for six months. Lin Wood, a pro-Trump lawyer, was fined by McAfee in June for contempt of court for insulting his former fellow lawyers. Wood was asked for $5,000.
Regarding Wood’s derogatory comments, McAfee said, “I cannot ignore the protracted and egregious nature of the rape.”
Wood was told the fine would increase to $15,000 if he was caught repeating the mistake in the future.

The allegations against Trump and 18 of his allies stem from their combined efforts to reverse the Peach State’s loss of the 45th PETUS in the 2020 election.
Fulton County Superior Court Justice Robert McBurney sealed the indictment just before 9 a.m. Monday night and released it about two hours later. The 77-year-old Trump is accused of 13 counts in the fourth indictment against the presidential candidate.
The former president faces charges of conspiracy, misrepresentation, violating an official’s oath, and violating the Peach State’s racketeering statute.
