Saudi Arabia Special Visa-Free Scheme Online Apply
The Saudi government rolled out a special e-visa exemption program on Thursday. The new policy applies to all citizens of the United Kingdom (UK) and Northern Ireland.
This e-Visa Free scheme allows single entry into Saudi Arabia for up to six months. However, an exemption request must be submitted at least three months to at least 48 hours before entering the Kingdom.
The application process is also easy. A traveler must visit the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and fill in the required information.
With this initiative, Saudi Arabia hopes to strengthen its ties with the UK by encouraging visits for a variety of reasons, including health, education, tourism, and business.
Saudi Arabia Introduces E-Visa For Pakistan
In addition, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has introduced electronic visas (e-visas) for a dozen countries, including Pakistan, making it easier for nationals of those countries to visit Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia’s General Aviation Authority (GACA) has officially announced that it has introduced a new method of issuing e-Visas using QR codes.
The system is already operational in twelve Saudi embassies: Pakistan, Turkey, Morocco, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Thailand, Bangladesh, India, the Philippines, Indonesia, and Egypt.
