Saudi Arabia Revamps Pay Scale for Government Engineers

Saudi Arabia has announced a new salary structure for government-employed engineers, aiming to make the profession more rewarding and appealing. The updated pay scale, approved during a Cabinet meeting led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, will come into effect on December 31.

This change targets engineers working in government roles and holding qualifications recognized by Saudi or international universities. The system categorizes professionals into roles such as engineer, associate engineer, professional engineer, and consultant engineer, with accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers being a key requirement.
