Saudi Arabia Eid ul Adha 2023 Date Officially Announced

Saudi Arabia has officially announced the dates for Eid Al-Adha 2023 after the sighting of the crescent moon Dhul Al-Hijjah in the country on June 18.

According to the official announcement, Arafat Day will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 27th, followed by Eid Al-Adha on Wednesday, June 28th.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is also expected to announce Eid Al-Adha dates today, along with other Muslim countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan etc.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department, also known as the Met Office, predicted the moon’s birth at 9:37 p.m. on June 18. m., and the moon was seen on June 19.

In this regard, the Ruet-e-Hilal Central Committee, the agency responsible for moon sightings in Pakistan, will hold a moon sighting meeting at the Met Office in Karachi today. The Committee Chair, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, will chair the session.

In addition, the area and district committees meet simultaneously at their respective headquarters.

On the other hand, Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia also declared Eid Al-Adha on Thursday, June 29th.
