Samsung Galaxy A14 5G Launched With Cheaper Price
Ahead of the main launch of the Samsung Galaxy S series, Samsung is launching several budget phones in different regions. The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is the latest to come with a density chip, a large battery, and multiple color options to choose from.
Samsung A14 5G Design And Presentation
The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G is quite similar in design to its predecessor, but the screen resolution has been increased from 720p to 1080p. The panel is a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and large surrounding bezels.
There’s a teardrop notch for the selfie camera and a side fingerprint sensor for quick unlocking.
Internal Components And Software
The MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC remains unchanged and still comes with up to 6 GB RAM and 128 GB expandable storage via microSD card.
In terms of performance, the Density 700 comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 720G chip, which is impressive for a basic phone.
The A14 boots the latest Android 13 operating system with Samsung’s One UI 5 on top.
Samsung A14 5G Cameras
Like last year, there’s a 50-megapixel main camera on the rear, along with a duo of 2-megapixel shooters for depth-sensing and macro photography. These still have PDAF support and can record 1080p videos at up to 30 FPS.
The 5-megapixel selfie camera has been upgraded to a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens that can also record 1080p videos.

Battery specs are also the same as the A13 5G, including a 5000mAh power cell with 15W wired charging support.
