Russia is Introducing An e-visa For This Asian Country
Russian authorities are in the process of rolling out e-visas for Indian citizens, a major sign of strengthening ties between the two countries.
The details confirm that e-visas will be rolled out from August 1st this year to enable Indian citizens to apply for their visas quickly and smoothly.
The electronic visa would allow entry to the Russian Federation for guests, business, or tourist visits, as well as to attend events.
The time required to process a single entry visa under the e-visa system is limited to a maximum of four calendar days. Visa fees are also very cheap at around $40, showing that both countries are serious about facilitating travel.
The e-visa would be valid for 60 days and would allow Indians to stay in Russia for up to 16 days – enough time to explore the country’s top attractions.
Experts say the launch of the electronic visa system is an important advance in boosting tourism and giving Indians a rewarding travel experience.
With its vast territory, Russia offers a variety of fascinating destinations to explore. Travelers can depart from Moscow, where iconic sights such as the Kremlin, Red Square, and St. Basil’s Cathedral await in all their glory.
Travelers can also stop in the enchanting cities of the Golden Ring such as Suzdal, Sergiyev Posad, and Yaroslavl to experience the country’s rich history and timeless charm, and then head to beautiful Lake Baikal, the world’s deepest freshwater lake, amidst impressive Siberian landscapes.
If you are also planning to visit the country, you can enjoy the beauty of the Trans-Siberian Railway, which crosses vast areas and connects different cultures. In Kamchatka, you can see impressive volcanoes, hot springs, and unique fauna.
