Ross Hamilton has been charged with the murder of a boxing trainer who was stabbed to death in a fight on a London bridge.
Hamilton, from Wood Lane, Isleworth, west London, appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates Court today charged with the murder of Reece Newcombe in the early hours of Saturday morning. He is also charged with assault in a group.
Newcombe, 31, who coached celebrities including former footballer Ian Wright for a charity boxing match in 2014, has died after being stabbed to death with a piece of glass on Richmond Bridge in south-west London.

Metropolitan Police officers found a seriously injured Newcombe on Richmond Bridge in west London around 4am on Saturday.
Newcombe died in hospital later that morning. Officers also arrested a second man, 28, on Tuesday on suspicion of murder.
Hamilton, from Isleworth in west London, has also been charged with joint assault.
Arrested
The bald and bearded defendant, from Isleworth, west London, wore a thick blue hoodie and appeared to show little emotion during the hearing, which lasted just over a minute. He pleaded not guilty to one charge of murder and one charge of battery sharing.
Prosecutor Anam Yaqoob and Hamilton’s attorney Reza Pashazadeh did not speak at all during the hearing. No bail application was made. District Judge Deborah Wright told Hamilton: “I am sending your case to the Central Criminal Court (Old Bailey) where you will appear on December 2nd at 9:30am.”
“In the meantime, you will be held.” The Metropolitan Police said a second man, aged 28, was arrested for the murder and released on bail until early January.
Newcombe’s distraught family reunited at their home in Feltham, west London, on Monday. Hamilton, who appeared on the bench, spoke in a calm voice only to confirm his name, date of birth and address.
