As the country continues to embark on a dangerous economic path, the federal administration has recommended several austerity measures. Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Defense Minister, announced these ideas.

On the advice of a special committee, the federal government has proposed closing markets, hotels, restaurants, and cafes at 8 p.m. The action is expected to save Rs 62 billion each year.

The administration has decided to strictly respect the closing time of the wedding hall at 10 p.m. This choice was made after the owners of the wedding hall repeatedly flouted the announced closing time.

The federal government is considering announcing a rotating telecommuting program for 20% of public sector workers. The measure is expected to save 56 billion rupees annually.

In order to save Rs 15 000 crores or Rs 23 000 crores per year, the federal government would also encourage people to use energy-saving fans and lamps.

In addition, the measure will help reduce electricity consumption by 8,000 to 9,000 MW. In addition, you save a significant amount of money on fuel import costs.

To reduce gas use, the federal government will also launch a public awareness campaign urging people to install cone baffles on their geysers. 92 billion rupees are saved every year.

To save Rs 4,000 crore annually, the federal government would also light alternative street lamps. In addition, it will accelerate the use of electric bicycles to save 86,000 rupees per year.

Finally, in order to persuade the population to adopt austerity measures, the Federal Government will also launch a broad awareness-raising campaign. All provinces are being consulted and invited to join this national program for the next two days.

This energy-saving policy will be finally approved on Thursday.
