Recaldo Liburd was arrested and a second body was reportedly found at the Twin Creeks landfill and environmental center, police said.
An arrest warrant has been issued for a suspect across Canada. York Regional Police said he was armed and dangerous after a body was found in a landfill in the Lambton County parish.

Markham Double Homicide
A body has been found and arrested in connection with the case of the missing Markham couple.
York Regional Police investigators have found the remains of one person at the Twin Creeks landfill and environmental center in Watford, Ont., Where they believe the second body was also found.
Police say Quoc Tran and Kristy Nguyen were killed at 111 Zenway Blvd in Vaughan, where they were last seen around 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, 18th September 2021.
Police did not say which body was found, but said Quoc Tran, 37, and Kristy Nguyen, 25, were “victims of crime in a targeted attack.” Police said the Markham couple were last seen near a shopping center in Vaughn around 5:30 p.m. September 18.
The York Regional Police Homicide Unit recovered a body from the landfill operated by Waste Management and has been arrested in connection with what it calls an ongoing murder investigation in Vaughan.
Police released photos of a suspect and, with the help of the public, arrested him on Wednesday.
One Suspect Was Arrested, Another Wanted
Police say Recaldo Liburd was complicit in the murder in two cases.
But a second suspect was still wanted on Friday afternoon with a Canadian warrant for double first-degree murder.
Phuong Tan Nguyen “is considered armed and dangerous,” police said.
“If you see him, get away from him and call 911 immediately instead,” police warned. “Investigators remind the public that anyone who aided or aided the suspect can be prosecuted.”
The police also ‘encouraged’ the suspect to speak to a lawyer and report him himself.
A spokesperson for York Regional Police did not immediately respond to a request for further information.

An OPP spokesperson for Lambton said there were “no details” about the investigation.
A waste management spokesperson did not immediately respond to a voicemail requesting more information.
