Queen Elizabeth, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge Wish Meghan Markle A 40th Happy Birthday
The Queen, Prince William, Kate Middleton, and other members of the royal family welcomed Meghan Markle on the occasion of her 40th birthday.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge wrote: “I wish the Duchess of Sussex a happy 40th birthday!” along with a picture of Meghan and a birthday cake emoji.
The queen’s official account posted three photos on the occasion, including a photo of Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, and her son Archie on their royal tour of South Africa in 2019.

The message read: “I wish the Duchess of Sussex a happy birthday today!” Clarence House’s account for the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall also tweeted a photo of Meghan smiling and writing: “I wish the Duchess of Sussex a happy 40th birthday.”
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry likely held the event at their Montecito mansion, as they reportedly took the time to care for their family’s newest baby, Baby Lilibet.
