Schools across Punjab will reopen on January 13 after the winter holidays, with the Department of Special Education introducing new timings to help students manage the ongoing cold wave.
Special education institutions, which have been closed since December 20, will operate from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Monday through Thursday and on Saturday. On Fridays, classes will end earlier at 12:00 PM.
To help students cope with the chilly weather, the department has temporarily eased uniform rules for special education institutions. From January 13 to February 15, students can wear warmer clothing to stay comfortable.

Meanwhile, all public and private schools across Punjab are also set to reopen on January 13 as planned, with no extension announced for the winter break. Classes will resume on schedule despite the ongoing cold weather.
