The Punjab Education Department is offering 12,500 internship opportunities for aspiring educators through a 9-month School Teaching Interns (STI) program. This initiative will improve the province’s education system while giving participants hands-on teaching experience and a competitive monthly stipend.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria for Punjab school teacher internship program:
- Residency: Applicants must reside in the district where they intend to serve.
- Education: A master’s degree along with a professional teaching qualification is required.

Role and Responsibilities
Interns will dedicate their time to teaching and engaging with students in classrooms. They will not be tasked with administrative or evening school duties, ensuring their focus remains on education.
How Much Monthly Stipends
Interns will receive stipends based on the school level they are assigned to:
- Primary School Teachers: Rs. 38,000
- Middle School Teachers: Rs. 40,000
- High & Higher Secondary School Teachers: Rs. 45,000

Merit-based selection ensures fairness. Final lists will be available at Deputy DEO offices, official online portals, and school notice boards. Applications must be submitted through the dedicated online platform.

- These are temporary positions and do not lead to permanent jobs.
- Transfers between schools are not allowed.
