Punjab Govt Announced Winter Vacations Schedule For Universities
The Punjab govt announced on Tuesday that the winter break for all public and private universities in the province would begin on December 23, 2021.
The decision of the State University Office stipulates that the holidays from 23.12. last until January 6th, 2022.
“All universities under the jurisdiction of the Punjab Higher Education Department will obey the orders,” the message reads, calling on all relevant authorities to guarantee 100% vaccination of all teachers, non-teaching staff, and students during the holidays.
“All competent authorities must guarantee a 100% vaccination of all teachers and non-teaching staff as well as students by opening facilities after a growing number of the Omicron variant of COVID-19,” said the decision.

The announcement said that unvaccinated staff and students can no longer enter the affected facilities after the holidays.
Punjab’s Education Minister Murad Raas had previously announced the winter holidays for schools and universities from December 23 to January 6, 2022.
