Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif announced that students scoring over 65% marks will receive laptops. The announcement was made at the Honhaar Scholarship ceremony at Government College Women’s University, Sialkot. The first batch of laptops has already arrived, with Maryam Nawaz personally selecting them for the students.
She also revealed plans to expand the Honhaar Scholarship program, increasing annual scholarships from 30,000 to 50,000 next year, and extending it to second and third-year students. Additionally, 100,000 e-bikes will be distributed to students across Punjab.
Maryam Nawaz requested students to stay focused and loyal to Pakistan, while criticizing her political opponents over a 190 million-pound case. She emphasized the importance of education and unity, stressing that hatred destroys society. The first batch of laptops under the CM Punjab Laptop Scheme will be distributed soon.
