How to Apply Online for Punjab Arms License – Fees, Processing time

Punjab Arms License Online Apply

The interim government in Punjab has introduced the Punjab Arms Rules 2023, allowing people and businesses in the region to apply for firearms licenses online. The fees for these licenses have been increased significantly, rising from Rs20,000 to Rs50,000, a 150% surge, as approved by the Law and Parliamentary Affairs Department.

To be eligible for a firearms license, applicants must be permanent residents of Pakistan, hold a valid CNIC, have a Punjab domicile, be over 20 years old, and be registered as active taxpayers with no prior criminal record. The government will not issue licenses to fugitives, individuals with court convictions, members of proscribed organizations, or those involved in anti-state activities.
