Punjab Announced 1 Lakh E-Bikes and Scholarships

In a significant move to support students, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has launched an ambitious plan to distribute 1 Lakh E-bikes and 50,000 scholarships to students across the province by next year.

The announcement came during a special ceremony at Okara University, where she also handed out scholarship cheques to deserving students.

Okara Medical College by 2025

  • A new medical college will be established to expand healthcare education and create opportunities for aspiring medical students.

  • The first shipment of laptops is part of a broader plan to improve access to digital education.

During her speech, Maryam Nawaz shared her vision of empowering students through quality education and financial support. She described the Talented Students Scholarship Program as the largest initiative of its kind in the country.

“I’m here to speak from the heart and listen to students,” she said, emphasizing her focus on youth development.

She praised Education Minister Rana Sikander Hayat for his dedication, describing him as someone who handles criticism constructively and continues to deliver results.
