PU Officially Issues A Notice Of Spring Holidays
Punjab University has announced spring breaks in all departments, institutes, and centers as well as schools and colleges affiliated with the university.
According to the official notice from the Punjab University Deputy Register, the university will be closed for spring break from Friday 24th March to Friday 31st March.
Most of the university-affiliated departments, institutes, centers, schools, and colleges will reopen on Monday, April 3rd. In total, most students are expected to have 11 days of vacation, as 23rd March will be a Thursday, a public holiday, and 2nd April, a Sunday.
On the other hand, the administrative staff of all departments, institutes, and centers as well as the schools and colleges affiliated with the university will remain in their offices despite the spring break.

In a separate event last week, students affiliated with Islami Jamiat Tulba (IYC) reportedly attacked a group of students celebrating Holi courtesy of the Punjab University administration.
At least 15 students from the Hindu community were injured in the attack. Videos of the incident have been shared widely on social media, showing members of the Hindu community being attacked.
