PTI govt to announce Federal Budget 2021-22 with Rs8 trillion outlay on June 11 (Friday) with a total expenditure of 8 trillion rupees, reported news media officials.
Media Sources said the government has proposed a defense allocation of Rs.133 trillion, of which Rs.3.15 billion will be used for interest payments.
The growth target for the gross domestic product (GDP) was set at 4.8% in the budget 2021-2022.
The Federal Board of Revenue’s (FBR) tax collection target for the next fiscal year will be set at Rs.5829 billion, they said, adding that the government has projected an export target of Rs.26.8 billion and imports at $55.30 billion.
The government will target the current account deficit target at $2.30 billion and remittances at $31.30 billion in the 2021-22 budget.
It plans to set aside 994 billion rupees for various subsidies and 501 billion rupees for subsidies.

Sources said the turnaround rate will be held at 8% for the fiscal year 2021-22, while industrial growth is 6.8%, big industry is 6.2%, total investment target is 16% and national savings is 15, 3% will be.
Federal Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin will present the National Economic Survey for the 2020-2021 financial year today.
