Priyanka Chopra Praises Miss Universe “She Is Very Smart And Beautiful”
Priyanka Chopra, who won Miss World in 2000, said she was delighted that Harnaaz Sandhu was elected Miss Universe this year. When promoting her new film The Matrix Resurrections, Priyanka was asked about her reaction to being awarded the title to Harnaaz.
Harnaaz, who represented India at the 70th Miss Universe Pageant, was the first Indian to win the title since Lara Dutta in 2000.
Speaking to Fox5 about Harnaaz’s win, Priyanka said, “I was very excited. The last time India had a Miss Universe was Lara Dutta in 2000. It was Lara Dutta in 2000. It was also the year I won the Miss World, won the crown after 21 and she’s 21 so she was born the year I won Miss World,” He laughed as he looked at her age.

“I am very happy for you and I hope this is the beginning of an incredible journey. She’s obviously very smart and beautiful and I’m very happy for her,” she added.
After Harnaaz’s win at Miss Universe 2021, an old video of her praising Priyanka re-emerged online. “I love Priyanka. Whatever I can learn from her remains (sic). So I’ll always choose Priyanka,” he said.
