Private Schools Issued A Notice Of Eid-ul-Fitr Holidays
The All Pakistan Private School Federation (APSF) has announced public holidays in all educational institutions in the country to mark Eid-ul-Fitr.
All private schools will observe the four-day Eid-ul-Fitr holiday from April 21-24, according to the notice released by the APSF on Thursday.
“In accordance with the decision of the APSF, all private schools under the administrative control of the APPSF will remain closed from April 21 to 24,” the statement said.
It was reported last week that proposals for four to five public holidays will be put to the Prime Minister, who will make the final decision.
It has been reported that if Eid falls on a Friday, the holiday would be April 20-23, while the holiday could extend to April 20-24 if observed on Saturday.
The federal government yesterday announced the advance payment of salaries, allowances, and pensions to all active and retired civil servants on the basis of oath.
It is important to mention here that the Ruet-i-Hilal Research Council predicted that Eid would fall on Saturday across the country, after 30 days of fasting during Ramadan.
