Prince William And Prince Harry Are United By An Accessory They Both Wear
Prince William and Prince Harry may be apart, but during the Easter Sunday service, fans noticed a sweet bond between the two brothers.
The Prince of Wales left for the Easter Sunday service with his wife Kate Middleton and their three children George, 9, Charlotte, 7, and Louis, 4, on April 9, 2023.
Fans noticed that William had a hidden symbol on the bottom of his shoes. As he wore black for the event, an initial “W” appeared to be engraved on the soles.
User @royalimposters noted in a tweet: “You can see on Prince William’s shoe that there is a ‘W’ etched/tanned on it.”
In the following thread, user @Remisagoodboy pointed out that Prince Harry, 38, also wears shoes with his initial ‘H’ engraved on the sole.
“John Lobb does it for both brothers. I don’t know if King Carlos is also a customer.”
According to Express.co.uk, the Duke of Sussex wore a similar pair of black brogues to his brother at the 2014 Wellchild Awards, except that the initials ‘H’ were engraved on both soles.
One of the reasons the princes have their initials engraved on the soles is because they are the same shoe size. A royal source previously told The Telegraph: “William and Harry are the same shoe size so I think it’s his way of making sure he has the right shoes. He’s really quite cute.”
