Prince William and Kate Middleton demanded not to fight back against racism
Prince William and Kate Middleton have been criticized for not speaking out against racism, unlike William’s brother Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have come under fire from US TV presenter Lindsey Granger, who has denounced their lack of response to protests they have encountered during their ongoing Caribbean tour, The Daily Star reported.
Appearing on Whoopi Goldberg’s talk show The View, Granger said, “I don’t think William and Kate came forward like we saw Harry and Meghan lining up and taking a stand.”
“It’s problematic that they towed the line, so I don’t think we’re going to get very far with those two,” he added.

Granger continued, “…It’s only disturbing to me because I’m reading a Newsweek article and people in different Caribbean countries want to be recognized for what they look and sound like, that’s the bare minimum.”
She added: “The royal family probably won’t repay them, so I’m trying to say that it’s probably legitimate to see them and listen to them, at least from the start.”
Granger’s reference to Prince Harry and Meghan “taking a stand against racism” was aimed at their bombastic revelation with Oprah Winfrey in 2021, in which they revealed a royal had raised concerns about their first daughter’s tone.
